Sales Representative

JOB SUMMARY: Sales Representative

Job Type: Commission
Start Date: ASAP

Brightworks Solar is looking for full time, self-motivated, dependable Independent Sales Representatives to join their team.

We are a full-service solar energy provider. We focus on custom applications for farms, homes & commercial buildings, cottages & off-grid systems. An exciting “ground floor” opportunity in a rapidly growing industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain, develop & expand our customer base
· Generate and connect with prospective customers via internet, door-to-door & phone-response communication
· Travel to and attend trade shows
· Educate and inform prospective clients with a focus on meeting their wants & needs
· Perform full site assessment including measurement of roof and recording site related data
· Create detailed written proposals that define client needs
· Present in-home proposals that detail the benefits of solar and the services of our company
· Diligently follow up on inquiries, leads and prospective customers
· Help develop and then maintain weekly/monthly sales targets
· Develop /modify sales strategies with senior staff, implement and monitor
· Work with installation staff through satisfactory project completion
· Generate additional revenue through networking and referrals
· Attend company and departmental meetings as directed
· Participate in ongoing training, development, and certifications
· Communicating and sharing best practices
· Other related duties and responsibilities as required to meet the goals of the position

· Industry leading commission plus bonus structure based on per system sold

Position requirements:

Position Preferences:
· Post-secondary diploma/degree
· Previous in-home sales experience is preferred
· Previous solar sales experience
· “Hands-on” construction experience (ideally installing solar systems)

Experienced Solar Installer

JOB SUMMARY: Experienced Solar Installer

Brightworks Solar is a full-service solar energy provider. We focus on custom applications for farms, homes & commercial buildings, cottages & off-grid systems. We are looking for contract Solar PV Technicians to join our team.

This is an excellent career opportunity for the right individual, with outstanding growth potential. We are committed to sustainability at all levels of our organization and believe that our success as a company depends on the success of every team member.

This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to complete rooftop solar PV installations. The PV Technician will work under the direction of his/her Lead Hand and/or Superintendent in the installation of industrial, commercial and residential solar projects.

This person will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed in an efficient and timely manner while adhering to company procedures and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the installation of photovoltaic systems (Roofing and/or construction experience preferred).
· Responsible for the quality and efficiency of an installation.
· Maintain company owned tools and equipment.
· Uphold Brightworks Solar standards of professionalism- timeliness, appropriate job site behavior, etc.
· Reports job status to Foreman contributing is.
· Responsible for contribution to jobsite safety.
· Work well with construction crews, performing construction tasks.
· Troubleshoot a variety of technologies.

· Industry leading compensation structure on a project by project basis based on site-specific characteristics

· Ability to meet job deadlines and labor estimates.
· Ability to handle physical demands.
· Ability to absorb all levels of PV training available.
· Ability to communicate effectively to all members of the solar team and customers.
· Ability to work safely and effectively on steep roofs.
· Good knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code standards and practices.
· Knowledge of PV technology and installation.
· Valid G class driver’s license.
· Willingness to step outside of daily job expectations to contribute where needed to help entire Brightworks Solar team succeed.
· Extensive experience with installation tools and procedures.
· Strong interest in renewable energy
