Brightworks Energy has completed a major commercial solar repowering project in Whitby, Ontario, doubling the system’s capacity from 330 kW to 660 kW on the same rooftop footprint. The project involved a complete system removal and rebuild, including new racking, modules, electrical infrastructure and commercial inverters. The result demonstrates how repowering can unlock significantly more energy production from existing commercial rooftops.
